The Purly Girls on T.V.

Carrie's Bathmat

Here are the stats:
yarn: 9 balls Lion Brand Velvet Spun
size 10 needles
cast on ~60 sts then knit one row. make loops on the next row and continue alternating that until it is the desired length.

Last Gasp

Parkside Wool in Bellevue closes for good on Saturday. I stopped in today to see if I could find a 60" size 4 circular (nope) but was surprised to see lots of good stuff still left on the shelves at 50% off. There was plenty of soy silk, sock yarn, cotton, wool and novelty yarn. Plus they had the yarn I'm using for my endless afghan. I got 11 skeins.



And some alpaca for luck.

From My Sick Bed

I've been doing some simple knitting while dying from the plague (okay, I'm probably not dying). Over the last few days I've knit five more squares for my endless Psychedelic Squares Afghan. Very simple, very soothing. There's a larger progress shot here.
